It is the celebration of the mythical being reborn from ashes, that signifies the continuity of life, hope and unceasing growth.
The age of individualism has been prominent in the past few decades. Our centre of human consciousness being directed towards attainment of quantitative ambitions and wealth accumulation. The concept of value creation, not understood by many. This year, the global pandemic has made all of us pause and re-evaluate the fundamentals we had built the pillars of our life on.
The current situation and its implications have slowly, but steadily made us realise that the changes we had wanted to make all along. We had to work both as individuals and a collective unit to alter our mental, physical and environmental state- a situation that was far less severe.
What has occurred today as a result is a sense of paradigm shift in perspective from one of wealth accumulation, to value creation. A pretentious display of one’s exterior self, made it hard for us to stay calm, be content and relate to one another as human beings. In contrast, our renewed lifestyle and adoption of simplicity took off layers, revealing one’s true self, providing access to essential virtues such as humility, perseverance, compassion and grace. This embarkment is the Phoenix risen out of the ashes.
The collection is designed as a collective manifestation towards embracing the aesthetics of subtraction. It allows the beauty of the creation emerge from less rather than from more. Modern, yet comforting hues of whites, greys, browns, blues and neutrals set the vein to welcome winter. Designs, silhouettes that have been created to be soft and flexible while flowing with the body for the comfort and satisfaction of the wearer.
ABOUT THE WOMENSWEAR - A-line cocoon silhouettes offer a timeless sensibility to ensure comfort and balanced proportions to the wearer. The emergence of utility-inspried design language shows no sign of slowing, as people continue to prioritize function and form in equal measure. Styles are designed to be transitional, multipurpose while still being classic in soul and relevant in style.
Phoenix balances these somber themes with a sense of optimism, reflected in a palette of darks and lights. Blues and greens are inspired by the ocean, while glimmers of neutrals tones are inspired by sands, and can be used to give designs an ethereal quality. Burnt coral is a rich, sophisticated shade of orange that fits in well with other natural earth tones and neutrals.

The designs this season continues to build on the same philosophy with an inherent sense of longevity kept in mind. The artisanal range of bags & accessories in muted and warm winter colour tones are crafted in premium LWG Gold certified Italian leather along with the introduction of technical fabrics and hardware. A strong focus has been kept towards the facet of sustainability and responsible manufacturing.
